The City of Ember is a City under the Earth, there is no sun. The builders of the under ground City Of Ember decided to make a small box with instructions to get out of there. They decided to keep the box locked up for 200 years. The box got passed up by every mayor until one of the mayors died with the box. The box was kept in a closet. Many years passed and the box clicked open. Know one new about the box. The city of Ember is running out of lights and food! One day a 15 year old girl named Luna looked in the cupboard and saw the box. She told her friend, Doon about the box and they were of on a journey to Save Ember! The City of Ember has lots of Adventure and Mystery! Doon and Luna have to go threw lots of trouble. The people of Ember think they are criminals! It is by Jeanne DuPrau.
