I read this book called holes, holes is about a boy called Stanley Yelnats. Stanley gets taken to court by mistake for taking a pair of famous shoes, which he didn't take. Stanley got bullied at middle school by a boy who was much smaller than him.In court the judge said he could go to jail or camp green lake. Stanley has 18 months in camp green lake. Once camp green lake was the largest lake in Texas but now there is no lake. Read to find out how Stanley survives this camp green lake. In this story Stanley makes some friends in camp green lake one is called Zero/Hector Zeroni. In camp green lake they have to dig a 5 feet hole everyday then they get to rest.there is a movie holes if you want to see it. This book is realistic fiction.
